Erika, Heidi, and Genevieve Visit

Editorial Note: I just discovered I never finished this blog post. Well, it’s a bit out of order, but enjoy the pictures anyway.

Well, we just bid adieu to Erika, Heidi, and Genevieve at 3:00 this morning. I think that’s why Jess and I are so tired. I imagine that our visitors are even more exhausted after a couple of flights. It was nice to have them here for such a long time. We don’t get to see them often, and it’s amazing how huge (and mobile) Genevieve has gotten since Christmas. Unfortunately I had to work much of the time, but we did get to head up to Rocky Mountain national Park on Sunday after church. We discovered that there’s still quite a bit of snow up in the highest reaches of the park. The handicapped accessible trail around Bear Lake is completely snow and ice packed. So much so that Erika and Heidi didn’t feel comfortable carrying Genevieve in the Kelty backpack we borrowed (thanks Henry). Nevertheless, we did manage to get in some nice scenic driving. Here are a few pictures I took with the new Nikon camera.
